Sandy K. (Derthick) Christ

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Sandra Kay Christ Sandra Kay Christ, 62, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 13, 2019 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, to the late Ralph Edward Derthick and Frances Ruth Dial Derthick and was preceded in death by her two brothers, Bill and Bob Derthick. Sandy worked in the banking industry and was a wonderful homemaker. She was an avid baseball and football fan and especially loved the NY Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Sandy was an accomplished quilter and loved traveling to new places. Before her declining health, Sandy was passionate about cooking for her family and friends. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
