Born in Gaston County NC, she was the daughter of the late Harlie Haywood Palmer and Denver Olean Rogers. She was preceded in death by sisters Florence Owens, Bonnie Moore and Shirley Fricks. Sarah was retired from the textile industry. Family was everything to Sarah. She always made sure everyone was taken care of because that's the type of woman she was. She cared for her family and friends around her. She enjoyed the small things, just a long conversation and a cup of coffee would keep a smile on her face, and she spoke her mind and never had any trouble saying what she thought but regardless of anything, she had love for everyone and taught us that family is everything, and to live life fully, and forgive easily. Sarah worked two cotton mill jobs while raising her two children (Denver and Christopher) as a single Mother and once her children were grown, she took in two more children, Fatima and Zackary, who she adopted and raised. She loved her children and always made sure they were put first and had what they needed. Sarah was a great mother and she will be loved and missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
