Savannah Savon Lanier, 72, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 16, 2024 at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Catawba County, NC, daughter of the late Ulysses Grant and Thelma Louise Carroll Williams and was preceded in death by a son, Jackie "Rusty" Lanier Jr., her sisters, Dorothy, Starlene, and Pamela, a brother, Randy, and grandchildren, Dennis, Lacey, Isaiah, Elijah, Ashton "Cole", and Josh. Savannah's compassionate spirit and warmth, touched all who knew her. As a devoted mother, she found joy in nurturing her children with faith and indulging in her passions for singing, painting, reading, and computer games. Despite health challenges, her support for her family was unwavering, a true embodiment of limitless generosity. Her words, "you're covered in the blood of Jesus," resonate as a legacy of her deep faith and boundless love.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Jackie Lanier, Sr. Children: Bennie James Teague (Sharon), Pamela Jewel Cantrell, Amanda Teague, Scott Lanier (Roxann), Jesse James Teague (Kristen), Christy Lanier (Keith), Brian Cody Teague (Brianna), K'eona Lanier Brother: Jerry Williams (Judy) Grandchildren: Zeb, Jeffrey, Nicholas, Jessica, Christy Ann, Mary Ann, Jessica Dean, Tiffany, Ava, Maddyson, and Alister. Savannah is additionally survived by numerous great-grandchildren and her special dog, Little Man.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel.

VISITATION: Prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:50 A.M. at Harris Funeral Home.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
