- Sheryl McDaniel Brown, age 68, resident of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away at Carolinas Health Care System – Kings Mountain, on January 14, 2017. Born in Cleveland County to the late Fred Atwood “Pete” McDaniel and Joann “Boots” Walker McDaniel, she was retired from Carolinas Medical System after 30 years of service as a histologist.
