Shirley Carroll

SHIRLEY GREENE CARROLL - Shirley Greene Carroll, age 75, of Kings Mountain went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was born in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late Franze and Alma Meredith Robbins Greene. She was married to the late Curtis Carroll for 56 years. She was a homemaker, member of the Family Worship Center Church of God, she loved camping, reading the bible, writing poetry, embroidery and spending time with family. Shirley reached out to people and touched many lives through her cooking and giving heart. She will be remembered for her wonderful meals, kind heart and smiling face. We can't even begin to think how excited she was when she entered those pearly gates. She was a warrior for Christ, heaven has gained a faithful servant.
