-After a courageous battle with cancer, Shirley Biddix Lawson, age 79, of Kings Mountain, entered Heaven’s Gate on September 28, 2016. She was born in Cleveland County to the late Leonard W. Biddix and Pearly Pauline Green Biddix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lawson. She was an active member of Dallas Church of God. She loved to read her Bible and do word search, spend time with her family and traveling with her sister. She was the best mom and grandmother, sweet and humble, always encouraging and much loved by all. She was retired from Sadie Mill, Kings Mountain.

Ronnie D. Lawson and wife Kathy, Kings Mountain; Harvey L.
Lawson and wife Pam, Kings Mountain; Bobby Lawson and wife
Robin, Shelby; Kenneth Wayne Lawson and wife Holly, Shelby.
Daughters: Anna M. Roper and husband Tim, Kings Mountain
And Patricia Heffner and husband Eddie, Kings Mountain.
15 grandchildren, 34, great-grandchildren, 3 great-great
Grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, October 2, 2016, 4:00 PM, Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Parker and Rev. Thurman Henry Jenkins officiating.
VISITATION: 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 112 Peaceful Valley Rd, Kings Mountain.
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
