Stephanie Jane Clayton, 55, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on June 25, 2026 at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1970 in Campbell County, KY. She was formerly a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Irmo, SC, where she often displayed her beautiful singing voice as a member of the choir and regular soloist. Stephanie was also a member of the Inner Peace Performing Choir. Along with her musical talent, she possessed a zeal and appreciation for music. Stephanie was a big fan of the Beatles, 80's rock, and Christian artists including Sandy Patty and Larnelle Harris.

Stephanie will be remembered by her family and those close to her as a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Steven Edison

Parents: Charles William Patterson, Jr. and Suzanne Schrader Patterson of Burnsville, NC

Children: Dylan Clayton and Victoria Clayton, both of Owensboro, KY, and Allie Edison and Katelyn Edison, both of Huntersville

Step-children: Sarah Savoia (Mike), and Michelle Edison, all of Huntersville

Mother-in-Law: Gloria Roper of Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Mason Savoia, Caden Savoia, and Camden Johnson

Sister: Erin Patterson and her wife, Tamisha Seagroves. of Hagerstown, MD

Stephanie is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, July 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Chet Andrews officiating

VISITATION: Monday, July 6, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
