STEVE BROWN
-Lawrence "Steve" Stevenson Brown, Jr., age 70, a resident of Kings Mountain, died June 12, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby,NC. He was a native of Cleveland Co., NC, son of the late Lawrence "Buster" Brown, Sr. and Mattie Jane Bridges Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Caldwell Brown.
He was a former employee of Wix Corp. in Gastonia and a member of First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. Steve was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army and a member of the Vietnam Veterans Breakfast Club in Kings Mountain.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 50 years: Gail Maddox Brown, Kings Mountai
Sons: Mike Brown,Blacksburg, SC, John Brown and Tanner Brown, both of Kings Mountain
Grandchildren: Maddox Brown and Tuxner Brown
