Sue Jones

MAMA SUE JONES -Mama Sue Jones, age 75 resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2016 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Paul Richard Sanders and Viola Hullender Sanders. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Parton and brother, Arthur "Ott" Sanders. Mama Sue was a member of Anew Beginning Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where she sang in the choir. She was a homemaker and retired as a seamstress. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed crafting, painting, sewing, shopping, and dancing. She loved people and always enjoyed good conversation.

SURVIVORS: Children: Derice Ellis and husband Mike, Kings Mtn. NC Deniece Talbert, Kings Mtn. NC Rick Parton and wife Jeanne, Kings Mtn. NC Donna Valle and partner Jennifer, Green Cove Springs, FL Ricky Stroupe and wife Diana, Kings Mtn. NC Melinda Holland, Bessemer City, NC Serena Parton, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Don Sanders and wife Faye, Kings Mtn. NC 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

CELEBRTION OF LIFE SERVICE: Second Baptist Church, Sunday, November 6, 2016 2:00 P.M. Rev. Doug Ramsey, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the sanctuary of Second Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. North Carolina
