Jessie Susan Boles, 62, of Shelby, NC, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026 at her home. She was born September 28, 1963 in Mecklenburg County, NC, daughter of the late Grady Earl and Mary Elizabeth Faile Hargett and was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Hargett. Susan was a former member of Victory Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She worked for more than 10 years, in the family business, at Mary's Exxon on Hwy 161 south of Kings Mountain. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Susan had a huge heart and always welcomed people into her home. She had a very independent nature and a stubborn side that was embraced by all those who loved her. Susan was an avid animal lover, dogs especially. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, vacationing in Cherokee and time spent watching her favorite television show, Criminal Minds. Susan was a wonderful wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend to so many. Her memory will continue to be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew her for a lifetime.

Sons: Bobby Joe Boles III and Cody Earl Boles (Autumn)

Sisters: Cathy Keeter and Sharon DeBruler (Rick)

Grandchildren: Jordan Boles, Joey Boles, Kendal Boles, Shade Viars, Solaire Boles and Salem Boles

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Monday, June 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gene Bates officiating

VISITATION: Monday, June 15, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
