Susan (Anderson) Bridges

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA SUSAN ANDERSON BRIDGES Susan  Anderson Bridges, 66 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 09, 2018 at Brian Center in  Gastonia, NC.  Born in Muscogee County, GA, she was the daughter of the late  Kenneth T. and Lucy (Gilmer) Anderson. She  was also preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Michael Lee Bridges, Sr. and grandson Alex Green. She was retired from Lowe's Home Improvement and also worked for CA Short before retiring again in 2017. Susan was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and was very proud to be a grandmother.  She enjoyed going to church and her church family was very important to her. SURVIVORS: Son:  Michael Lee Bridges, Jr. and wife Arlene, Huntersville, NC; Daughter:   Sherri Bridges Wilson, and husband  Jeff, Mooresville, NC; Brothers:  Eddie Anderson and wife Elaine, Kings Mountain, NC; Steve Anderson and wife Melanie,  formerly of Kings Mountain, NC; Richard Anderson and wife Janice, Winston Salem, NC; Grandchildren:  Sierra Archibald, Logan Green, Cassidy and Jacob  Bridges and Madison Wilson Numerous nieces and nephews FUNERAL SERVICE:  Sunday,  August 12, 2018. 3:00 PM, New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC with Rev.
