Terry Dean Hulsey
Terry Dean Hulsey, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 10, 2025. He was born February 7, 1959 in Shelby County, TN, son of the late Otis and Gloria Cordell Hulsey and was preceded in death by his brother, Otis Hulsey Jr. Terry was a former attendee of True Gospel Holiness Church. He worked at EATON Corporation until his retirement. After his retirement, Terry confirmed his status as a workaholic by returning to work at EATON. He enjoyed staying busy everyday, whether at work or working in his yard to keep it tidy. He enjoyed visiting the beach and spending time with family on vacations. Terry was a diehard UNC Tar Heels fan. He loved music, especially the sounds of Eric Clapton. Most of all, Terry was a family man. In his heart, there was never enough time to spend with those he loved. When his precious granddaughter was born, Terry devoted every free moment he had to spoiling her and showering her with his love. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father who instilled his work ethic, compassion and love in the lives of those who he cared for.

Children: Landon Childers and husband Alex and Matthew Hulsey and wife Haley
Granddaughter: Penelope Hulsey
Brothers: Tony Hulsey and Wayne Hulsey
Niece and nephew: Alison Hare and her family and Nathan Hulsey and his family

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Chapman officiating
VISITATION: Friday, November 14, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
