Thomas Lee Greene, 60, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on March 12, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Born August 29, 1964 in Cleveland County, he was the son of Joseph A. Greene Jr. and Linda Webb Greene and was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Denise Greene Bolick and Alan Bolick, and his grandparents, Odes Webb, Minnie Webb, Joseph Greene, Sr., and Elizabeth Fincannon Greene. Thomas played saxophone in the band at his alma mater, Kings Mountain High School. Upon graduation, he earned an Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering which he put to use over the course of a 35-year career with Baldor Industries. Thomas enjoyed golfing and was also an avid fantasy sports player, eagerly managing football and baseball rosters. Thomas was a loving son and wonderful caretaker of his beloved canine companion, Saber. He will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Joseph Greene officiating.

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 19, 2025 prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:50 A.M. in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. at the Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gilkey, North Carolina.

INTERMENT: Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gilkey, North Carolina
