Tony Ray Davidson

After a long journey of sickness, Tony Ray Davidson, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be home with the Lord on January 29, 2020 at Peak Resources in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Ralph "Pop" and Pearl Reynolds Davidson. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved Aunt, Martha McConnell. Tony's favorite pastime was socializing with friends and family and reminiscing about the good old days. He was a true salesman, and loved working  with Kathy at his business, Davidson Insurance Agency Inc. Tony was a Shriner and a member of Masonic Lodge Gastonia #369 for 35 years. He loved the Lord and spent many years playing guitar with the praise and worship teams at Family Worship Center, Christian Freedom and Christ Worship Center. Tony will be dearly missed by so many who knew and loved him.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 15 years: Kathy Davidson, of the home Son: Tony Davidson II (Rachel Carroll), Kings Mountain, NC Stepdaughters: Megan Burke and husband Josh, Johns Island, SC and Abigail Robertson and husband Bryan, Hendersonville, NC Grandchildren: Quintin and Alyecce Davidson, Adah and Heath Robertson and Sydney and London Burke Beloved Feline Companion: Charley

FUNERAL SERVICE : Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Christian Freedom Church with Pastors Jimmy Maney and Mark Shuler officiating

VISITATION: Saturday February 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:50 PM prior to the service at Christian Freedom Church

INTERMENT: Christian Freedom Church Cemetery
