It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Eugene Black, aged 47, of Charlotte, NC, who left us too soon on October 12, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born on October 10, 1978, in Cleveland County, NC, he was the beloved son of the late Johnny Eugene Black and was preceded in death by his cherished father-in-law, Joe Brackett. Travis was a devoted member of his community, employed by Connected Technologies in Charlotte, NC, where he made lasting friendships and shared his passion for technology. Beyond his professional life, Travis enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles and found joy in the open road as an avid motorcycle rider, embracing the tranquility of peaceful rides through the beautiful landscapes all across the country. A true artist at heart, Travis possessed a remarkable talent for music and was an accomplished guitar player, filling the lives of those around him with the unique sounds of his guitar riffs. His creative spirit extended beyond music; he thrived in drawing and painting, and his skills as a tattoo design artist were awe-inspiring. Yet, what Travis valued most was his family. He loved them deeply and cherished every moment together, embodying the role of a dedicated husband and father while also being a loving and devoted son and brother. His warm presence and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Travis leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and friendship that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. As we remember him, let us celebrate a life filled with passion, devotion, and unforgettable memories.
