Virginia Gordon Hale, 94 of Cherryville, NC, passed away on August 09, 2017 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was Daughter of the late John Gordon and Pearl Huffstetler Gordon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Blair Hale and son Richard Dean Hale. Virginia was retired from the textile industry and enjoyed fishing.

SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Steve Hale and wife Gertrude, Cherryville, NC; Billy Hale and wife Phyllis, Burlington, Kansas;Timmy Hale and wife Shelly, Lincolnton, NC;
1 Daughter: Diane Cook and husband Doug, Bessemer City, NC;
17-Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren


GRAVESERVICE: Monday, August 14, 2017, 3:00 PM Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC, officiated by Rev. Eddie Gray.


VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
