VIRGINIA WELLS GORE OWENS - Virginia Wells Gore Owens, age 82, resident of 402 Fulton Road, Kings Mountain, NC died February 7, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Vane Wells and Mamie Compton Wells. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, the late Charles Edward Owerns, and the late Carl Gore; brothers; John Wells, Claude Wells; sisters, Lily Gladden, Mary Deal, Ethel Bumgardner, Annie Lochridge, and Minnie Morrow. She was retired from Cooper's Furniture Store, Kings Mtn. NC and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Carolyn O. Evans, Kings Mtn. NC Avis O. Morrow and husband Keith, Kings Mtn. NC Audrey O. Howell and husband Walter, Hickory Grove, NC Brothers: Pete Wells and wife Doris, Kings Mtn. NC Ralph Wells and wife Helen, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Byrdie Bumgardner, Kings Mtn. NC 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE: Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. Steve Taylor, officiating.
