VIRGINIA SMITH TRAMMELL - Virginia Smith Trammell, age 91, resident of 609 Meadowbrook Road, Kings Mountain, NC died April 20, 2011 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Rome, GA, daughter of the late Francis Roscoe Smith and Ida Myrtle Lumpkin Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James "Jim" Avery Trammell, Son; JA Trammell, Jr., 2 Brothers and 3 sisters. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and a homemaker. The family would like to thank the staff of White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. for the loving care shown to their mother.

SURVIVORS: Son: Mike Trammell and wife Roxie, Kings Mountain, NC Daughters: Diane T. Ormand Houser, and husband Bob, Kings Mtn NC Janie T. Moss and husband Quay, Kings Mtn. NC 8 Grandchildren: Joe Ormand and wife Elaine; James Ormand and wife Brenda; Michael Ormand; Jonathan Summey and wife Rachel; Jennifer Ballard and husband Gene; Jason Michael Trammell, Kevin Moss and wife Amy; Charity Bridges and husband Kenny. 8 Great Grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Saturday, April 23, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. Rex Gibbs, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2011 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
