Wanda Christeen Wright, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 25, 2025 at Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC. Born March 18, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Mahaffey and Mildred Cliff and was also preceded in death by three siblings. Wanda loved solving puzzles and coloring. She always enjoyed a good movie of any genre, but had a special predilection for comedies. Wanda was of the Baptist faith; she had a sweet soul and a heart for others. A caring, generous person, she took every chance to put other people first, giving anything she could and always being there for others. Wanda's love and light will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, and they will hold tightly their cherished memories.

SURVIVORS: Children: Theresa Boswell (Glen) of Kings Mountain, Robert Wright of Lancaster, SC, and Todd Wright of SC Brother: Richard Mahaffey Grandchildren: Christina Odom and Bruce Odom Wanda is also survived by 1 great-grandchild and a niece, Millie Chadwick.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
