WANZA P. GOFORTH - Wanza Phifer Cranford Goforth, of Kings Mountain, NC, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at Hospice of Union County. Born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Arthur and Lambeth Harmon Phifer, widow of the late Paul Frank Cranford and for 39 years to the late Alonzo "Lonnie" G. Goforth. She was an active member of El Bethel United Methodist Church where she was the oldest member until her death. She loved to read and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from Parkdale Mills after 55 years of service.

FUNERAL SERVICE: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. Rev. Tom Jolly, officiating.
VISITATION: 1:00 to 2:30 prior to the service in the church Fellowship Hall
INTERMENT: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain, NC
