William Howard Jackson

HOWARD JACKSON -William Howard Jackson, age 91, a resident of Kings Mountain, NC died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. He was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Harvey and Blanche Smith Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Essie McFalls Jackson, daughter Claudette Conner, grandson, Todd Conner, granddaughter, Cindy Jackson Thomas, brothers, William Jackson, W. C. Jackson, Delbert Jackson, Garland Jackson, and sisters, Marie Blanton, Ruby Jackson, and Oveda Blanton. Mr. Jackson retired from the City of Kings Mountain after 23 years of service. A member of Family Worship Center Church of God where he was active as an usher and bus ministry. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved golfing, hunting, and working on lawn mowers. He served in the United States Army during World War II. The family would like to thank White Oak Manor Unit Two Station, Dr. Christian Anderson, Dr. Robert Perkins, and the nursing staff for their devoted care.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Family Worship Center, Church of God Tuesday, March 27, 2012 4:00 P.M. Rev. Ray Almond and Mr. Michael Smith, officiating.

VISITATION: 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Monday evening, March 26, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
