Willis "Willie" Greene

WILLIS "WILLIE" GREENE -Willis "Willie" Greene, age 83 resident of Grover, NC went to be with his Lord on October 20, 2016 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Grover Willis Greene and Elsie Burton Greene. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Tessener Greene. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Mr. Greene was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and was retired after 40 years with Baxter Corporation, Shelby, NC. He served in the United States Army as a Medic.

SURVIVORS: Son: Todd Greene, Grover, NC Daughter: Karen McNeill and husband Jeff, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Charles Greene and wife Sarah, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Charlotte Martin and husband Dean, Smyrna, SC 2 Grandchildren: Chelsey McNeill and Taylor McNeill Numerous Nieces and Nephews Special Pet Companion: Fluffy

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Christian Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery, Monday, October 24, 2016 2:00 P.M. Rev. Jerome Cash, officiating

VISITATION: Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.
