WILLIS O. HARMON

- Willis O. Harmon, age 90, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC, son of the late North and Miley Medlin Harmon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Nell Camp Harmon and a son, Robert Rollins Harmon. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain where he served in many positions and was a member of the Pals Sunday School Class. He was a farmer and retired from PPG after 21 years of service as a security guard. He also served the Cleveland County Fair in the Horticulture Dept for 64 consecutive years in many capacities. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC Friday July, 22, 2011 4:00 P.M. Dr. Steve Taylor, officiating.

VISITATION: 2:00-4:00 P.M., Friday, July 22, 2011 prior to the service in the Christian Activity Center of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
