ZEB H. ETTERS

Zeb H. Etters, 86 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 31, 2017 at  Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC.  Born in Cleveland  County, NC, he was Son of the late John Henry and Pratt (Harmon) Etters.  He was preceded in death by  his wife of 49 years, Lee Ella Thomas Etters, brothers, Rufus Etters, Thomas Etters and sister Eunice Etters Thornburg.     Zeb was retired from Carolina Freight  after 25 years of service and was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church.  He was also a Korean War Veteran.

SURVIVORS:  Sons: Harold Dean Etters and wife Sandy, Kings Mountain, NC and John R. Etters and wife Linda,  Kings Mountain, NC

Sister:  Elva Lingerfelt, KIngs Mountain, NC

5 Grandchildren:  Justin Etters, Josh Etters and wife Amber, Meghan Dodge and husband Tieler, Johnna Etters, and Caleb Etters.

3 great grandchildren

FUNERAL SERVICE:    Sunday, September 3, 2017, 3:00 PM at  El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain, NC  with Rev. Bruce Hobson officiating.

VISITATION:  One hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall

INTERNMENT:  El Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Foot Hills Marine Corp League.
