Barbara Haynes Ross
Barbara Haynes Ross, 86, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 17, 2021 at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Mark Franklin and Lottie Chaney Haynes and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Paul "Ray" Ross. Barbara was also preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Watts, Polly Norris, Ruby Worthen, and Irene Smith. She worked as a pharmacy technician most of her life. Barbara was a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church where she played the piano. She loved to sing and was a member of a gospel trio who sang at many churches and entertained thousands of people over the years. Barbara possessed a kind and gentle spirit that will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 
SURVIVORS: Daughters: Pamela Rae Ross Doyle of Ocean Shores, WA, and Kelly Ross of Lewisville, TX
1 Grandson: Andy Peterson, 1 Great Grandson: Andrew Doyle, and one Great-Great Granddaughter: Sophia Pamela Jean Doyle

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery
The family will speak with friends immediately following the service at the cemetery
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
