Brenda Lee Irvin
Brenda Lee Irvin, 77, of Shelby, NC, passed away on November 08, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Flay and Viola Dellinger Huffstetler and was preceded in death by her husband, Odus Irvin Jr.. Brenda was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Sorrow, two brothers, Dennis and Ernest Huffstetler, and two sisters, Martha Huffstetler and Altamae Hardin. She was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church and a faithful Christian woman. Brenda enjoyed being active, working in textiles for many years, crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, sewing, and coloring. She loved working in her yard, growing beautiful flowers. Brenda enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for her loving family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rachel Pinson and Susan Sorrow for the wonderful care they provided Brenda, and to her sisters, Melvine and Betty Jean for helping in the home during this time. 
SURVIVORS: Sons: Robert Sorrow, Shelby, NC and Leroy Nicholas Sorrow, Grover, NC
Brothers: Floyd Huffstetler, Mount Holly, NC, and Michael Eugene Huffstetler, Lincolnton, NC 
Sisters: Melvine Parton and Betty Jean Husky, both of Bessemer City, NC
Grandchildren: Makayla, James, and Wilbur Sorrow
Special Grandchildren: Rayla, Abigail, and Scarlet Reynolds
Great Grandchildren: Jonathan, Ashton, Grayson, Joseph, and Elena Sorrow
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Cleveland Memorial Park
VISITATION: Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
INTERMENT: Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, NC
