Charles Glenn Green
Charles Glenn Green, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on March 23, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Gaston County, NC, son of the late Glenn and Gladys Petty Green and was preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Myra Green. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wanda Brooks and Lillian Jackson. Charles served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Wix Filters after many years of service as a supervisor. Charles also worked for Moss Realty for several years after his retirement. He was an active member of Patterson Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. Charles loved to travel, spending time at his camper in the mountains and enjoying church fishing trips to the coast. He never met a stranger and enjoyed making friends with everyone he encountered. Charles always had a positive outlook on life, no matter the circumstances. He loved his family, friends, church and the Lord with all that he was. His kindness and loving spirit will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Patterson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Tim Hendrick officiating
VISITATION: Will follow the graveside service at the graveside
INTERMENT: Patterson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
