Crowder Edward "Ed" Davis
Crowder Edward Davis, 80, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home. He was born January 16, 1941 in Lincoln County, NC, to the late Franklin and Mandy Pryor Davis and was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Davis. Ed was a hard worker. He spent his early working career in construction and later as the owner of Ed Davis Septic Tank Service and Ed Davis Mobile Home Park. Prior to his battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases, he enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a graduate of Bethware High School Class of 1960 and a member of Pleasant City Church. 
SURVIVORS: Wife of thirty-one years: Susan "Sue" Hudgins Davis, of the home
Son: Bob Davis and wife Karen of Mint Hill
Daughter: Beth Chambers and husband Dale of Shelby
Step-Son: Michael "Mike" Donald and wife Dana of Kings Mountain
Step-Daughters: Patty Taylor of the home and Margaret Donald of Cary
Four Grandchildren, Nine Step-Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren
Brothers: William "Willie" Davis and wife Diane, Carl Davis and wife Judy, and Toy Davis and wife Kathleen "Kitten", all of Kings Mountain 
FUNERAL SERVICE: The family will hold a private graveside service
INTERMENT: Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
