Deborah Jean Rice, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on July 11, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Wesley and Annie Louise Bridges Blanton. Debbie retired from CaroMont Health. She enjoyed going bowling, watching baseball and football, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she cherished every moment she could be with them. Debbie was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Her love and kindness will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.

Daughter: Lisa Kistler (Steve), Shelby, NC
Grandchildren: Preston Lee, Kings Mountain, NC and Joseph and Mason Kistler, Shelby, NC
Brother: Richard Blanton (Pat), Kings Mountain, NC
Niece and Nephew: Jennifer Hale (Shane), Kings Mountain, NC and Wesley Blanton, York, SC

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
