Devaney Putnam IV
Devaney Putnam IV, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 17, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Rutherford County, NC, son of the late Lionel and Lorna Hill Putnam and was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Hill Putnam. Devaney retired from Duke Energy after 45 years of service as a lineman and safety supervisor. He was an avid cat lover and was passionate about corvettes. Devaney enjoyed cooking and spending time with his devoted wife. He was a dedicated provider and wonderful family man who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.

Stepchildren: Brandon Dorsett (Raissa), Gaffney, SC and Alesha Hoopes (Bill), Hudson, FL
Brothers: Lonnie Putnam (Judy), and Tom Putnam (Susan)
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City North Carolina
VISITATION: The family will speak with attendees immediately following the service at the graveside
