Donald Eugene "Gene" Adams Jr

Donald Eugene "Gene" Adams Jr, 62, of Grover, NC, passed away on April 28, 2023 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. He was born in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Gene spent most of his life as an electrical engineer. He attended Victory Baptist Church and was a talented banjo picker. Gene was an avid remote control vehicle enthusiast and loved tinkering with his RC planes, cars and helicopters. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 14 years: Lisa Tillman Adams, of the home
Children: Amy Adams and Nicholas (Nick) Adams (Kelly), Gastonia, NC 
Parents: Donald and Shirley Wallace Adams Sr., Bessemer City, NC
Grandchildren: Alex, Carson, and Caleb
Sister: Kim Hovis (Bob) Bessemer City, NC

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Wells officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Victory Baptist Church
