Dottie  Ann Wyte, 73 , of Bessemer City, NC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her home. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Winford and Martha Adams Hope. Dottie was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful mother and provider to her children. Dottie worked as a machinist for most of her life, and was employed by Gibson Machine and later retired from EATON. She enjoyed attending races with David and being a part of his pit crew during his time spent racing. Dottie loved going to flea markets and collecting glassware. She was an avid animal lover and always cherished her beloved canine companion "Peanut". Dottie loved spending time at the beach and with her family whom she loved very much. Her kindness, love, and guidance will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her. 
SURVIVORS: Significant other of twenty-one years: David Allen Hudson, of the home 
Brother: Dennis Hope (Jody), Kings Mountain, NC and Leland Meacham (Sheryl), Kings Mountain, NC
Daughters: Pamela Ann Cooper (Randall), Gastonia, NC and Denise Wyte Gantt (Brandon Moss), Bessemer City, NC
Grandchildren: Christopher Gibson (Charley) Bessemer City, NC, Lisa Gantt, Bessemer City, NC, and Jessica Cooper, Gastonia, NC
Great-Grandchildren: Callee Ruth Gibson, and Chasen James Gibson
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Wells officiating
VISITATION: Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the sanctuary of Victory Baptist Church
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
