Elizabeth Ann Olmstead

Elizabeth Ann Olmstead, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2020 in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of James Monroe Marlow and Clara Stinnett Marlow. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Gregory Olmstead, a son, Billy Paul Horne, a great granddaughter, Baby Belle Mode and sisters Diane Marlow and Paulette Marlow. Elizabeth was a published author and one of the top 50 contributors of Find A Grave. She also enjoyed genealogy. She loved to travel and visited over 40 states in her lifetime. She was an animal lover and loved to tell stories. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren



GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Mountain Rest Cemetery

LIMITED VISITATION: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
