Frankie Marie Wood, 73, of Grover, NC, passed away on September 16, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Frank Vernon and Melva Marie Owens Blalock and was preceded in death by a nephew. Frankie retired from Gaston Manor Assisted Living. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts and making wreaths, and attending social gatherings. Frankie loved babysitting her two great grandchildren, Abby and Gabe. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, and friend. Her kindness and love will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her. 
SURVIVORS: Husband of fifty-six years: Eddie Dean Wood, of the home
Sons: Carl Wood (Teresa), Grover, NC and Shane Wood (Peggy), Clover, SC
Grandchildren: Zachary and Tosha Bradshaw, Tyler and Hayley Wood, Matt and Erika Blackmon, Colby and Jasmine Welker, Matt and Paige Whitlow, and Nicole Turner
Great Grandchildren: Bree, Cadence, Zoey, Tyler, Skyley, Adylan, Rayne, Abigail, Gabe, Natalie, Emmett, Matt, and Lydia
Brother: Vernon and Dawn Blalock
Special Aunts: Shirley, Ruby, and Louise
Special Friends: Clemmer and Gail 
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at El Bethel UMC Cemetery with Reverend Vernon Blalock officiating

VISITATION: Sunday. September 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:50 PM in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
