Henry "Hank" Daniel Dodge
Henry Daniel Dodge, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. He was born in Paterson, NJ, son of the late Henry Walter and Alice Stewart Dodge. Hank was a member of Oakview Baptist Church. He was retired from the trucking industry having driven through every state in the continental United States. Hank enjoyed creating Native American crafts such as dream catchers and jewelry in his spare time. He was fiercely independent throughout his life. Hank was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. 
SURVIVORS: Wife of forty-nine years: Joan Rhinesmith Dodge, of the home
Son: Henry "Hank" Dodge Jr. and wife Tonya, Kings Mountain, NC
Daughters: Pamela Clayton and husband Edward B. Clayton, Boone, NC and Christina Dodge and husband Ed Naumann, Troutman, NC
Grandchildren: Hannah Marie and Morgan E. Acrey, and Maegan Blalock
Great Grandchild: Giovanni Lewis Boyce
Brothers: Johnny and Bobby Dodge
Sisters: Marilyn Dodge, Karen Fontan, and Diane Dodge
FUNERAL SERVICE: The family will hold a graveside interment on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery
INTERMENT: Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
