Kathy LaDonna Buchanan, 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2022 at her home. She was born in York County, SC, daughter of the late Reuben James and Joanne Brown Porter Payne. LaDonna was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed spending time at home with her family, reading, and talking on the phone everyday to the people she loved. LaDaonna's family was the center of her life and she loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Children: Rodney Wayne Sanders, Pineville, NC, Kimberly LaDonna McCoy, Lowell, NC, and James Craig McCoy (Beth), Lancaster, CA
Step-Child: Meghan Arant (Clint), Goose Creek, SC
Grandchildren: Mackenzie Staley (Alex), Aayriel Clark, Jaelyn Crum, Jaykob McCoy, Owen McCoy, Jonah, McCoy, and Danika Arant
Great Grandchild: Harper Staley
Siblings: Randy Porter and Janice Littlejohn (Wayne)

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
