Lloyd "Peachey" Clark Sr.
Lloyd "Peachey" Clark Sr., 86, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 01, 2020 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late John Wesley and Dorothy Blanton Clark and was preceded in death by his brothers, Hoyle and Lionel Queen, and Mason Blanton and a sister, Sally Blanton. Peachey was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a long time member of El Bethel UMC where he served many years as the Cemetery Superintendent. He retired from Carson Machine Company after thirty years of dedicated service. Peachey proudly served in the US Army as a Medical Corpsman. He enjoyed being outdoors where he could often be found tinkering with his tractors, gardening, spending time with his miniature horses or restoring old cars. Peachey loved eating boiled shrimp and one of his favorite desserts was "Momma's Cake". Peachey was often referred to by his family as "Mr. Fix-it" for his knack for repairing just about anything. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather whose wisdom, guidance and love will be missed greatly by his loving family and friends.

Grandchildren: Michelle Queen Jenkins and husband Tripp, Kings Mountain, NC, Kacie Davis Jordan and husband Pearce, Cherryville, NC and Cameron T. Clark, Kings Mountain, NC

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at El Bethel UMC Cemetery with Reverend Julie Roberts officiating
