Nancy Elizabeth Philbeck

Nancy Elizabeth Philbeck, 72, of Grover, NC, passed away on August 11, 2023 at her home. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late James Darvin and Mary Cottongame Robinson and was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James Lee Philbeck. Nancy was a former member of First Baptist Church and a current member of Grover Church of God. She retired from LNS Turbo in Kings Mountain, NC where she worked for 25 years in accounting. Nancy worked as a cosmetologist for a time during her early life and enjoyed watching Hallmark Movies. She loved spending time around those she loved most, her family. Nancy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.  

SURVIVORS: Sons: Tracy Max Davis (Karen), Grover, NC, Brian Davis (Amanda), Kings Mountain, NC, and Robbie Philbeck (Scottie), Grover, NC

Brother: Joe Robinson, Grover, NC

11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren 

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Grover Church of God with Reverend Ron Hawkins officiating

VISITATION: Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Grover Church of God 

INTERMENT: Grover Town Cemetery, Grover, NC
