Phillip Anthony Farmer
Phillip Anthony Farmer, 64, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at his home. He was born in Georgia, son of the late Thomas Verlin Farmer. Phil was a former warehouse supervisor at Rowley Company in Gastonia, NC. He was always active in the community as the President of the White Plains Shrine Club, a member of Fairview Masonic Lodge #339, a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 155, and a member of the American Legion Riders Post 155. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, riding motorcycles, and competing in BBQ competitions with his cooking team, "Hurry-Up BBQ". Phil was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. No matter the need, he was very generous with his time and talents. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, and friend. Phil's caring, giving, and loving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
SURVIVORS: Wife of seven years, Lisa Dellinger Farmer, of the home
Children: Amanda Roberson, Georgia, Alexandria Farmer, North Carolina, Stafford Farmer, North Carolina, and Koryssa Beebe, South Carolina
Mother: Mildred Jeanette Cape Suggs, Georgia
Siblings: Alan Farmer & wife Pat and Valerie Summer & husband John, all of Georgia
FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Brian Clark officiating
VISITATION: Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phil may be made to the American Legion Riders Post 155 at 613 East Gold Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 or to Shriners Hospitals for Children at https://donate.lovetotherescue.org
