Prentiss Durward "P.D." Hambright
Prentiss Durward Hambright, 84, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on August 17, 2019 at his home in Blacksburg, SC. He was born in Cherokee County, SC, to the late Prentiss Quay Hambright and Ethel Mae Howell Hambright and was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jonell Cunningham Hambright. P.D. was a founding member of Dixon Presbyterian Church. He retired from the plumbing business and raised stock on his family farm. P.D. was an outspoken man who loved telling stories. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed greatly by his loving family and friends.

Daughter: Lynn H. Walters and husband, Robert, Blacksburg, SC
Sisters: Pricilla Ann Kee and husband, Jack, Shelby, NC and Lois Martin, Blacksburg, SC
6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
FUNERAL SERVICE:  Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Hambright Family Cemetery with Rev. Robbie Wells officiating
