Scottie Oliver Ruppe
Scottie Oliver Ruppe, 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, went home peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Richard Walker Oliver Sr. and Viola Blackwell Oliver and was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-five years, Curt Ruppe. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Oliver, and a sister, Debra Smith. Scottie worked in the food service industry for many years. She was a wonderful cook and loved making meals for her family. Scottie enjoyed dancing and going hunting and fishing, often sharing a deer stand and a boat seat with Curt. She was a strong willed and a dedicated matriarch for her entire family. Scottie was passionate about taking care of people and willingly shared her wisdom and love with everyone. Her spirit and strength will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her. 
SURVIVORS: Children: Greg Ruppe and wife Jennifer of Grover and 
Amy Turner and husband Michael of Kings Mountain
Grandchildren: Deshawn Strong and Hunter Ruppe
Brothers: Gary Oliver, Blacksburg, SC, Carlton Oliver and wife Donna and Richard Oliver and wife Velma of Kings Mountain 
Sister: Rebecca Chitwood of Kings Mountain 
Canine Companion: Harley-Emily
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Well officiating
