Virginia Sue Tumbleson

Virginia Sue Tumbleson, 83, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 01, 2023 at Authoracare Collective in Greensboro, NC.  Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was daughter of the late Fred F. Wray and Molly Marie Goforth Carico and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bobby Lee Tumbleson and her siblings Clyde Wray and Sybil Huffstickler. Virginia married Bobby at the age of 21, then attended night school where she earned her diploma in 1977. She served her community diligently as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving mother and grandmother who doted on her only grandchild, Zach, before being blessed with two great-grandchildren. Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

SURVIVORS: Children: Larry Tumbleson (Sharon) - South Fork, Colorado 
Grandchildren: Zach Tumbleson (Renee) - Colorado Springs, Colorado 
Great-Grandchildren: Talulah and Aleister Tumbleson

Memorial Service: Monday, September 11, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Ollie Harris memorial Chapel with Pastor Eddie Gray officiating
