Nearly 2 years later, this has just crossed my mind. I'm a ham today because of Mr. Shillinglaw. He introduced me to radio in the mid 70's in his classroom. It took me 40+ years to absorb all of the knowledge he wanted me to have. A conversation on the radio made me think of him again tonight. God bless you, sir, and the wonderful family we heard so much about in those days. May you rest in eternal glory.
