Donald Sellers Sr., 80, of Kings Mountain, went home to be with his Lord on Dec. 7, 2017, surrounded by his family at his home as he took his last breath and entered the gates of heaven.
Don was born in Kings Mountain to the late George William Sellers Sr. and Alma Bell Sellers. He married Freda “Fritzy” LaRue Sellers on April 2, 1960 and spent his forever with his “Forever Love.”
Don and Fritzy have four surviving children, Donald Marjerison and wife Amy of Denver, Colorado, Sherri Sellers Fort and Husband Hilton of Louisville, Kentucky, Don Sellers Jr. and wife Sherry of Grover and Leslie Sellers Ramsey and husband Doug of Blacksburg, S.C.
Don retired from the textile industry by holding multiple managerial positions. He was a charter member of Bethlehem Fire Department, a member of the Kings Mountain Police Department and served our country in the United States Air Force and a faithful member of Anew Beginning Baptist Church.
Don loved travelling, reading and watching Western Movies but more than anything he loved his wife of 57 years and his family.
Surviving besides his wife and children are his brothers and sisters, Doris Cloninger and husband, Ken, Bill Sellers and wife Brenda and Junior Sellers and wife Karen; grandchildren, Donnie and Audrey Marjerison, Denver, Colorado, Tara Fort Long and husband Chris Nicholasville, Kentucky, Nathan Fort, Prospect, Kentucky, Chelsea Fort Halasek and husband Trent, Shelbyville, Kentucky, Chad Hayes and wife Crystal , Gastonia, Chasity Hayes Hamrick and husband Kevin , Shelby, Tray Sellers, Grover, Kristen Sellers, Grover, Kylee Ramsey Millwood and husband Stephen, Blacksburg, S.C. Shanna Ramsey, Blacksburg, SC and Tori Ramsey Gaut and husband Josh, Blacksburg, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Avery, Teagan, Lexie, Morgan, Hailey, Seth, Hayden, Braeley, Camden, Carleigh, Emalee and Baby Tinley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain. 
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain with Rev. Doug Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Grover Cemetery.
